Hurray, the top Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo aka RMD, that has been missing in moviedom since his appointment in Delta state has been dragged back into what he knows how to do best.
Ego Boyo is back as she is set to produce a film adaptation of a novel by award winning writer, Sefi Atta. She is best known for her role as Anne Haatrope, in the 80s soap opera, Checkmate. As a producer, she has several critically acclaimed films to her credit, including Violated, Keeping Faith, and 30 Days.
Her current project, is generating a lot of excitement due to her reputation for quality and the impressive array of talent she has assembled for the project. The film will be directed by award winning director, Akin Omotoso (Man on Ground), and it will feature Richard Mofe-Damijo, Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Lala Akindoju, and Chukie Edozien (a.k.a Lynyxxx) amongst others. A number of the actors featuring in the movie are currently in rehearsal camp.
