Nollywood Top Actor RMD Is Back In A Movie To Be Produced By Ego Boyo

 

Hurray, the top Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo aka RMD, that has been missing in moviedom since his appointment in Delta state has been dragged back into what he knows how to do best.

Ego Boyo is back as she is set to produce a film adaptation of a novel by award winning writer, Sefi Atta. She is best known for her role as Anne Haatrope, in the 80s soap opera, Checkmate. As a producer, she has several critically acclaimed films to her credit, including Violated, Keeping Faith, and 30 Days.

Her current project, is generating a lot of excitement due to her reputation for quality and the impressive array of talent she has assembled for the project. The film will be directed by award winning director, Akin Omotoso (Man on Ground), and it will feature Richard Mofe-Damijo, Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Lala Akindoju, and Chukie Edozien (a.k.a Lynyxxx) amongst others. A number of the actors featuring in the movie are currently in rehearsal camp.

Jim Iyke Signs Multimillion Dollar Contract In Gambia

Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has signed a multi-million dollar deal with Invest Gambia, an investment company based in The Gambia. The deal involves the production of three films, as well as the establishment of a joint venture film production company named Musketeers Production.

The deal was signed during an 8-day working visit, which the actor recently made to Gambia. Production of The Coast, one of the films to be produced under the agreement will begin in July.

It has been said that the film will be probably be the most expensive film shot in Gambia so far. The film will showcase various investment opportunities, which exist in Gambia, and it will also expose Gambian talents to the global movie industry.
